To start starch production the founder of the group of companies "VIMAL" Victor Lazar decided when he saw how potato beans were wrapped in the ground in the fields of Chernihiv.

      27 years ago, the Chernihiv region was considered the center of potato cultivation. But economically feasible processing was not. To buy a mini-line for processing potatoes into starch, I had to take a bank loan. Thus, in 1992, Ukraine's first private starch factory appeared.

In order to expand into the market, VIMAL was moving in several directions: improving quality, increasing capacity and expanding sales geography.

In the time since, VIMAL has been able to transform itself from a small private company into a budget-forming enterprise of national scale.

In order to become successful and world-famous you need to fully commit yourself to the business you love and be honest not only before yourself but also before people !!!
