VIMAL was visited by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine

Deputy Minister of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky got acquainted with the current production facilities of "VIMAL" during a working trip to Chernihiv region.

The director of the enterprise Serhiy Samonenko presented the following stages of the project of in-depth processing of potatoes - construction of a plant for the production of potato protein, organic fertilizers and potato dietary fiber. The uniqueness of this project is that the raw material for it will be secondary raw materials from the existing starch plant, which will further reduce the impact on the environment, lead to import substitution of these products and allow potato growers up to $ 2,000 profit per 1 hectare of potatoes.

The founder of the VIMAL group, Viktor Lazar, raised the painful issues facing most Ukrainian producers at the meeting.

In turn, Taras Vysotsky showed a high professional level and was well versed in the issues and the situation in the industry. During the meeting, he initiated the solution of most of the issues raised. The importance of such enterprises for the territorial communities where they are located and for the economic independence of the state as a whole was also noted.
